Vasquin Philieul letter, 1800s?

A 19th-century manuscript copy, from the Archivio di stato in Florence: Dogana di Frenze, filza di Memoriali dal 1561 al 1563, no. 210. The letter is addressed: Illustris.me Serenis.me atque invistis.me Dux, cuius virtus iustitiaeque fama maiores sunt quavis dignitate. In the letter, Philieul mentions his translation of Petrarch.
